Stuff to do with toddler - South London!!

Sorry for the AIBU - literally no idea where else to put this!!!

Moved to Penge East quite recently and due to lockdown, haven't properly figured out the area and the stuff to do.

Any suggestions for places to go on a HOT ass day with a 2 1/2 year old toddler?! We have a car, but ideally don't want to sit in it for hours sweating our balls off.

We've done Crystal Palace park to DEATH. God bless those somewhat ropey dinosaurs.

Thank you everyone! Hope you enjoy/endure this sunny weekend!

Hi. Have you joined the local Facebook groups? Chrystal Palace mums is particularly good for questions like this...

Dulwich Park and Brockwell Park have good play areas and Brockwell has a water area (but not sure if it is turned on yet)

Ps the dinosaurs are 150 year’s old, don’t let any locals hear you say they are ropey Grin they are very much loved around here!

The Horniman Museum and Gardens is fun (though sadly the Butterfly House and a few other things are closed at the mo).

Don't get me wrong. I respect the dinosaurs. I've just seen them A LOT over the last few months. Even dino obsessed toddler is over it. Grin
