Is trust earned/built in a new relationship ?

Say you have been with somebody for only a month or two, do you automatically reward them 100% trust from day one, or does it take time to build, once they have shown you that they can be trusted ? Just curious.

Of course, it's built up over time. After a month or two you barely know someone, so you might trust them to buy the kind of milk you wanted but you wouldn't give them access to your bank account in order to do so, for instance.
