Trying sooner than planned

So DH and I had our first DC in June 2020, we have decided to have another biological child and both agree that we want to start trying before DC is 1 (2021) and decided to start TTC after my March period. We have no specific reason to wait till March other than it's the time first month we thought of!
Would I be unreasonable to ask DH if we could start trying at Christmas 2020? I know it's quite soon after DC1 but I personally hate being pregnant and want to get that portion over with as soon as possible and then be able to enjoy our family for a few years before we go onto adopt (it's always been on our hearts to adopt after having biological children).
Before I put it to my husband I want to get other people's opinions, AIBU to consider this?

No other reason than just make sure, IMO, there is a good amount of time between giving birth. I'm sure the evidence says around 18 months is ideal for your body to recover?

I don't think YABU but this feels very very early on to be making such a huge decision if you've just had your first baby. The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you're comfortable with the risks associated with getting pregnant so soon after giving birth.

Other than that, good luck with whatever you decide 😊.

@2155User @Curiosity101
Thanks for your replies! Even with our March date we won't be making a 100% certain decision till that month so I can see how I feel and get the all clear from my doctor. I just wanted to make sure I view wasn't been clouded by my desire to get the pregnancy out of the way sooner and seeing it as a good idea if everyone else thought it was crazy 😂

@Mommabear20

If I could go back in time, I would have got pregnant ASAP after having DS. I wish I had got all the sleepless nights etc out of the way in one go
