To think it is bad practice for a business to constantly change their prices?

I've been going to a salon/clinic for a few different treatments for the past few years and I can't keep up with their prices.

Every time I go (every couple of months usually) the price for whatever i have has increased, then decreased by £10 or so, then promptly increased by a considerable amount (£30-£40) within a week or two.

If I think "I'll go and get this next month" by the time that comes around the price has changed again and I have to reconsider because it's alot of money to part with before the steep increase.

I've been a loyal customer for the duration and always felt appreciated as a client but since they've branched out they care less about returning customers and more about turn over. The welcoming service has changed and they're no longer bothered about their regulars repeat custom which is made apparent by the change in attitude.

Do you think this is bad practice or par for the course?
