To be confusing my meat smells

I have just put a pork joint in with a date of the 8th of August. It has a slight smell. I don't no how to describe it. Mince smells exactly the same. Abit bloody/raw. Not eggy.

I googled it and it says pork doesn't have any smell when raw.

Does that mean it's rotting?

Colour looks fine and three days date left.

A lump of meat smells meaty? Can't really see a problem with that.

If it was rotting you'd know about it - the human nose is finely tuned for rot by evolution.
