Faint positive result or not?

I recently had a MC in June, I have PCOS and haven't had my first period since which is normal for me. However, I have exactly the same symptoms as last time (even though it was a huge shock I was pregnant last time as I didn't know and though my boobs were aching due to PCOS devil!) I've attached photos, could anyone help? Im not getting my hopes up at all.

Yes I see a faint line

MouthBreathingRage · 05/08/2020 14:32

There's definitely a faint line. Did you get scanned during/after your last MC? Either call the EPU or doctor (after doing another test), just incase there's retention. I hope for the very best rest for you.

MouthBreathingRage · 05/08/2020 14:33

Result not rest, of course.

Neolara · 05/08/2020 14:37

That looks positive but could be left over hormones from the previous pregnancy. Depending on how far along you were when the pregnancy ended, it can take up to 5 weeks for the hormones to go back to zero. Have you had a definite negative pregnancy test after your MC?

PoodleMoth · 05/08/2020 14:59

Definitely a faint line

PCOSTTC42 · 05/08/2020 15:02

I had regular blood tests at the hospital as they originally thought it was an ectopic. I was discharged with 0 hcg level on 14th July. I think I'm going to hold off testing until the end of the month, don't want to get my hopes up again. It took us 2 years to get pregnant last time.

I see a line too! Fingers crossed you get the result you want op Smile.

PCOSTTC42 · 05/08/2020 18:42

Thanks everyone. They said it was approx 4 to 5 weeks MC in June do I wasn't far gone at all. I just have the exact same feeling as last time, but dont want to be disappointed.

I'm really sorry to hear that PCOSTTC42 Flowers.

@PCOSTTC42 I definitely see a faint line too. Could you get some cheap pink dye tests from wilkos or somewhere and do one each morning for a few days and see if the line gets darker? That’s a nice indication of the hormones increasing as pregnancy progresses.

Is there a number for EPAU that you could call for advice given the difficulties you’ve had before?

Crossing fingers this is good news for you and you have a happy healthy pregnancy x

lborgia · 05/09/2020 07:59

I think, given the OPs result, that it would be appropriate to ask MN to remove your post @Babydustxoxo.

If you're about to have a baby, you probably need to think about how to figure out tricky things. Pretty insensitive given OPs previous history.

PCOSTTC42 · 05/09/2020 08:00

Unfortunately it wasn't a healthy pregnancy. I am already under fertility treatment so hopefully we get some answers soon. Thanks all. Its never easy having two losses after one another but it could also be a sign there wasn't something right with the babies and my body rejected it them a reason.

I didn't realise I'm new to this app and also have pcos have been trying for 5 years so I completely understand OP pain! I don't actually know how to delete it and I feel awful now reading this properly x

At the bottom of your first post (all posts) there are the dots ... if you click on them, you'll get a menu of options.

I'm sorry if I was terse, you must be terribly excited, congratulations Flowers
