Been out a few times to the farm, nature reserves etc.
Haven’t really seen any family/friends yet though as they don’t want to risk it just yet. So we’re just having a relaxing summer holidays while I eagerly count down the return to school. Pretty boring but not a lot can be done during a pandemic!

Mainly working, children are going to my wonderful child minder two days a week and I've booked off odd days here and there. I've booked a couple of theme parks and a safari park.

We have two weeks in Greece booked for September. No idea if we will get there yet, just have to see what happens!

We had a cottage booked in Snowdonia and various activities planned but it got cancelled unfortunately. We've had some very local trips out and went to the beach last week but that's about it so far. Next week we are house sitting for some friends so will be nice to have a change of scene - they have tennis courts and an indoor pool so the kids will be happy and I've just booked us tickets to Thorpe Park for whilst we're there. I'm also going to try and do a few of those Treasure Trails hunts in some local areas (seen them on FB and they look quite good, albeit fairly pricey!).
We wanted to complete our current family peak bagging challenge this summer but the eldest's Sever's disease has flared up so she can't walk far - can't wait until she grows out of it as it always seems to flare up in the school holidays!!

I just got back from 2 weeks in Provence. We drove down & stayed halfway in an Ibis which was super-efficient and Covid-aware.

The village in Provence was busy with Belgians, Danes and Us, no other English that we heard. Masks obligatory in shops but nowhere else (I believe this has just changed). I felt safer there than here, even though the 1mtr rule was not always observed (and definitely not in the market!).
