At least one child vomiting. Everywhere. All over the accommodation, the beds, & you, possibly all over the other child/children. At night, when you’re knackered.

Trying to have sex quietly so that no other family members hear, & failing (especially in a caravan.) Catching sunburn & having the runs.

Spending inordinate amounts of time queuing for a kid’s ride that lasts 5 secs. Not being able to access the internet & spending a fortune to log into the local Wi-fi connection. Having burn-out on the the 4th day. Losing a child/children for anything between 10 secs- 30 mins.

Wondering whether it’s ok to wee in the sea and a) whether people will notice & b) how far you’ll need to wade in to make it look like you’re about to start swimming.

Not missing watching the News. Sneakily checking your work emails even though you PROMISED yourself you wouldn’t.

And finally.......wondering why other people are always so noisy. Then realising it’s your kids that are running around screeching like rabid monsters before bedtime!

Any others??!???
