Sorry for a very boring AIBU but does anyone have any interesting facts they’d like to share? I need a good fact for a work meeting this morning - any ideas?

a bit late but I discovered this yesterday - Salvador Dali designed the wrappers for Chupa Chops lollies.

Hedgehogs on Alderney are blonde and seem more unafraid of cars because (it's thought) they show up better in car headlights at night. It is also believed that the blonde Alderney strain can be traced back to albino genes of a pair of hogs imported years ago onto the island from Harrods now-defunct pet department.

Horses can't vomit which is why colic is such a big problem.

Also horses can only breathe through their nose.

Rats can’t vomit either, so one of the only human foodstuffs they can’t have is fizzy drinks.

I was told by a student that Coca Cola makes a very effective rat poison. I'm guessing that's why. Anyone tried? DH and BIL v skeptical.

Figs are not fruit but flowers that bloom internally- they are also not vegan because wasps pollinate them and die inside them and are reabsorbed so they’re full of wasp carcass

Lovely isn't it. Though fig farmers tend to control the number of females entering the fig. And an enzyme breaks the dead femalewaap down so it's not a carcass.

Even so, it's a touch off putting.
