I'm a young post menopause person...but have had sleep problems for about 10 years, I reckon.
Whatever I do - and I have tried everything and do everything I can - I have 1 or 2, possibly 3 hours awake every night. Or, I wake around 3.30/4 and can't get back to sleep.
Unless you experience insomnia and/or broken sleep on a fairly relentless basis, you have no idea how depleting it is.
I just needed to feel sorry for myself today. There's not even a real AIBU
