Still no beauty treatments! (Latest Boris update)

My beautician just called me. I was booked in (rescheduled the 3rd time since June), but now due to the latest government update, we cannot do my session! FGS! 😡 it is just cancelled! - and I feel sorry for them too! They spent a fortune to get the salon ready for opening tomorrow and now they were told they still cannot do facials. 😔
I know this lot keeps making extremely short notice decisions - like they are just not thinking!

I wish there was a feminine woman in that blooming government so we could get beauticians back. (We had golf, football, formula one, barbers ... reinstated weeks ago!)
Or should I just go to the barber and get my monobrow separated? 🤔🤔

Are you for real??!! Where exactly? Do you not realise the absolute economic catastrophe and unemployment levels that are heading our way? DH has not been able to operate his business since March. He applied for every temporary job going and didn't get so much as a response, because everyone else and their dog is having to do the same thing.

Oh and I work in primary care and we’ve been doing follow up smears since April and routine ones since June.

@CynsterBitch - I couldn’t even rebook it. This was the third time it got rescheduled and they felt sorry for me being left high and dry! They put me on their priority list with the required treatments. 😔

I agree OP and I don’t even use a beauty salon! My friend is a tattoo artist and he’s allowed to do facial and neck tattoos that require him to be really close to his clients’ face for considerably longer than a beautician threading or waxing eyebrows. It’s just another example of the bizzare guidelines.
