I have found this on one of my many stretch marks just above my hip.

It looks very angry but is only a little sore to the touch or when my leggins rub against it.

I'm fairly sure there was a mole there before but I'm not 100%.

Does anyone know what this could be at all?

I've got something similar around the same sort of place. Gets irritated sometimes when it rubs on clothes but generally not something that bothers me. Had it checked out by the GP, sure she said it's called a cherry angioma and nothing to worry about.

I think that your comment about the mole is important.
If it is a mole which has become a red irritated bump, that is red flag for urgent treatment.

if it is a red bump, and won't clear up, then you should get it looked at at some point.

There was a thread about third nipples recently.

It's hard to tell from the pic, but is it more spotty than moley? Could it just be a pimple / ingrown hair type thing?

SomeWateryTart · 30/07/2020 17:20

If you think it was a mole before though, I would definitely get it checked.

I get these on my stretchmarks now and again. Usually they appear seemingly overnight and then gradually disappear again over a couple of weeks.

CasuallyFeminine · 30/07/2020 17:30

I had one of these on a stretchmark above my hip the other day. It went away in a couple of weeks as RincewindsHat said.

allthepeoplethatcomearound · 30/07/2020 17:32

Could it have been a wart and has fallen off?

BeachWishin · 30/07/2020 17:44

Thanks all. I've shown my DH he believes that there was a mole there.

moles that turn red and irritated are not good. get it checked out, be sure to mention the mole!

Freddiefox · 30/07/2020 18:13

I hand a mole that sort of fell off, it grew back in a few weeks so they cut it out in the end.
