Why are things sometimes so hard

Just need to moan I’m sorry. People are the best and worst things about the world. I’m a first time mum with a 8 week old and have really found it hard to manage alone during lock down

So I invited dad and step mum to stay and help. Whilst it’s been nice having some company and their help. Everything is so stressful. What they think the baby needs, emotions are high as the world is COVID mad and everyone is disagreeing about how to behave.

I feel like I want help but can’t deal with other people at the moment. Does anyone else feel the same? Any advice what to do?

Sorry, I don’t have a great advice, just wanted to let you know, You Are Not Alone! 💐☺️

Find a good coping mechanism ( I would not recommend eating cake as I think it stayed all on my thighs and hips!) 😂😂

One thing though, someone recommended a gratitude journal so you write down things that you feel grateful about and when you have a wobble or bad day just look at it. There are things on this list which make me smile. Still. 💐💐💐

And I agree about people being the best and worst this world can offer. Maybe try to find like minded people in your area for a regular chat or even a cuppa. There will be life after this pandemic ☺️☺️

I found this with my mum. She wanted to come and help when I had my first. But then did not actually do anything. She did not offer once to do anything. By the end of the day I got pissed off with her, asked her to wash some bottles and instead of doing them she 'cleaned' the kitchen instead. Except she used kitchen towel instead of a cloth and left bits of wet paper towel everywhere so I had to do it myself anyway.

This was seven years ago. Sometimes it's just easier to do it yourself and have someone round for company instead.
