I had some questionable breast symptoms over lockdown. I wasn’t worried as such but thought I should get it checked out - especially owing to the fact that I had an aunt that sadly passed away at a young age from breast cancer.
Had phone consultation with GP who referred me to a breast clinic. I was seen quickly, the clinic was clean and had all measures in place for COVID. Was examined and told all good but referred for a family history assessment to determine my genetic risk. Had another phone consultation today, only a few weeks later - with a very friendly specialist who called me bag on time... took all my family history details and advised that my risk was low and gave me some advice for checking myself etc.
I just thought it would be nice to mention a really positive NHS related experience. I feel very fortunate to have access to it.

You should let them know. Compliments are few and far between in the NHS. Post something on their Facebook or drop their PALS an email 👍🏻 The staff involved in your care will really appreciate it

As PP said please pass your compliments onto PALS or via the trust social media, they are very much appreciated and go an awful long way with staff!
