to hate kids fashion right now?

I’m trying to buy my son some shorts. Last year it was fine.

This year everything is ‘skinny’ and when I get them to fit his waist they are spray on and uncomfortable. If they fit his legs nicely they are WAY too big on the waist.

Even jersey ones are all slim and tapered and he looks like he’s wearing cycling shorts.

What happened to the lovely surfer look? So much easier 😖

I bought my 6yr old son a bunch of new pairs of shorts a couple of months ago from Sainsburys, none of them are skinny or tight and 2 pairs are surfer style shorts.

H&M have some baggy surfer style shorts. I'm not keen on the slim fit for DS either. Hes very slim and looks like he's all limbs in slim fit!

Interesting. It was Sainsbury’s I was in today - maybe they’re unpopular and that’s why they’re left!

@Merryoldgoat I actually ordered them online and had them delivered, possibly more available online than in store?
