Just posting for traffic really before I book tickets.
Google maps says it will take an hour, but anyone local can tell me what is it really going to take in August traffic? Planning on doing peppa pig world on the Saturday then Lego land on the Sunday. I’ve never driven up that way before and just wondering if it will be worth it!
Yabu- you’re mental you’ll be sat in your car all day with 3 kids
Yanbu- it’s all motorway you’ll be fine.

Google is pretty accurate as it uses current data to calculate travel time. Just check before you leave and follow the route it recommends as it will always be the quickest.

I think the driving will be fine. It would be the 2 days in theme park queues that would put me off! Altho maybe with restricted numbers it won’t be too bad?

I'd check it this weekend at whatever time you'll be travelling to LL, say 8am for instance. Which end are you staying over at?

It’s a straightforward drive against the traffic heading for the coast, which is good.
Any hold ups will be unpredictable eg crashes.
Traffic can be slow on the approaches to Legoland, but this may be less than usual if guest numbers are limited and pre-booked.

Planning on hitting legoland as soon as it opens, then leaving in good time and heading straight back to Cornwall which is 4 and a half hours.

I don't know what current situation is but you used to be able to book the car park for a fee at Lego land and it's much closer !
