Ovarian cancer

I have all the symptoms
4 month long period
Exhausted
Pain and bloating
Excess gas
Feeling sick
Constipation
Weeing all the time etc
Have scans booked in next week, full bloodcount showed nothing concerning, anyone had the symptoms and it turn out to be something else?

Yup, I have all of this (but not a 4 month period, but periods all over the place). It's much, much more likely to be IBS or something like that, possibly/probably perimenopause related, especially if you have pain. I am waiting for scans (6 week wait apparently...) but felt reassured by this thread:

I have this apart from the bleeding and my CA125 is just at the level of risk.

I have had scans and there is nothing. I am still being watched as it's odd but otherwise, there is no issue.

There is a reason it's often mistaken for IBS or the like.

Scans will give a full picture

My symptoms were similar, turned out to be pcos and Ibs (my consultant also thought there was a good chance I had some endometriosis too although that was never investigated)

For me it was a combination of pcos and fibroids

Sorry not all symptoms, I had zero bleeding. They also thought endometrial cancer too. Fingers crossed for you OP

Not me but my aunt - PCOS and possibly IBS, like PPs. You’ve done exactly the right thing in getting it checked and scans will show the full picture so well done 👍

I had uti symptoms for months, bowel issues, off my food, exhausted, elevated CA125 (49 so not massively high but high enough to cause concern) - was fast-tracked for a scan a month ago and it turned out to be adenomyosis.

Yes, these are ovarian cancer symptoms, they are also the symptoms of a myriad of other conditions, which it is more likely to be one of.

That said, I appreciate how worried you must be feeling, having recently felt exactly that way myself, so am sending you lots of positive vibes.

Update I have endometrial polyps. Waiting now for the next appointment to see what happens next.

So better news than it could have been! Mine was enormous fibroid. Cured by hysterectomy at 45.

I'm going through something similar and despite it being referred under the two week referral I don't think much is happening in this area at this time.

Similar symptoms except for bleeding. Mine was enormous ovarian cyst. Had a hysterectomy as a result.

Good to know yours are polyps.
