To wonder why my child can't jump

DS is 3 and a half. Its becoming noticeable that he is much worse than his peers at running, hopping and jumping - he can't really do any of them.

He walked at 11m, and rides a balance bike confidently, and can bounce on a trampoline, but he is starting to get upset at how much slower he is at running than the other children, he can't keep up with games.

Is he just a bit slower or is he old enough now that I might need to get a physio to check /recommend some exercises to help?

He's otherwise an active and healthy boy.

Think it might be worth getting this checked.

My son was like this.. he came down the stairs one leg at a time until he was 7!.. he got better over time and while still not the fastest runner in his class is very sporty .

DS was like this and is now almost 5 and can run and jump and almost hop like the rest of his class.

Thanks, this is reassuring. I can't believe he has major gross motor skills as he manages on his balance bike etc but I find it sad that he is being put off playing with other kids because he is noticing he can't do what they can
