So....step child came to stay with us during lockdown with us continuing to pay maintenance as it was temporary.
Step child is now living here permanently. No issues with that whatsoever.
I'm now feeling like a cash machine as her father no longer has a job due to Covid and her mother will not be paying us maintenance due to her circumstances.
So yes I'm feeling frustrated. No we're not entitled to anything as I have done a comprehensive check. We already live frugally and I have a beautiful spreadsheet.
And yes I know my husband needs to get a job but its complicated due to his disability.
