Has anybody experienced reduced or non existent contact with siblings on loss of both parents.
Our df died almost 3 years ago and now dm is in a carehome with dementia so I feel like we have lost her too we cant even visit her together because of this virus.
It only seems like yesterday that we all got together for shopping meals out etc and it's all stopped and I barely see my siblings feeling sad about it Anybody else experienced the same.

It’s difficult isn’t it. My DM is the one who keeps my siblings and me together, but I fear the same will happen to us when she’s no longer around

I come from a very big family and honestly the only reason most of us are still in each other's lives is because we see each other at my parents' house.

And I know some siblings are actively looking forward to the day that they can walk away. It's sad but given the dysfunctional history of us all, not surprising!
