Is this stalkerish?

A few days ago I met a friend of one of my closest friends for the first time. He was lovely and we hit it off. I caught him looking over a few times. Would it be stalkerish to friend him on Facebook? We didn't swap numbers or anything but will see each other at another social with my friend and others in about a month.

Not at all, I've had people add me on FB with lesser interaction. I don't always accept mind you but that's up to him 🙂

No I don't think it's stalkerish ,if the person you met was female and you got on with them you might well add them too and who knows ,it might spark something?

I don’t think so, you’ve met and spoken and will likely meet again. I think it would only be potentially stalkerish if you hadn’t met, found him through mutual friends photos and had to tried to add him.

Not stalkerish at all, it's pretty normal these days! He's at liberty to reject your friend request if he wants. What have you got to lose?

People do do that so it's clearly something that's done, if that makes sense. Whether he accepts is a different issue and potentially awkward at next meeting. Maybe wait until then?
