Pay rise for teachers

I have heard about the 3.1% pay rise for teachers as of September. I work in a school as a Cover Supervisor, so as support staff essentially. Does anybody know if this pay rise will apply to all staff or only the actual teachers ? I.e. Not Cover staff, TAs etc. Thanks

Unions have negotiated a raise of 2.75% for government workers which include TAs and School support staff. The unions are saying is the best they are able to achieve. Union members are currently voting on this proposal I believe

And 3.1 is an average- lower paid teachers are getting more than higher paid. The government have a plan to make entry to teaching pay £30,000 I think in 3 years.

Does anyone know of those who are teachers but in FE will get the ride?

It would be a good idea, though with this government?
