So here we are week 18 home with two kids.. I have not had a single day off. School of mum has continued throughout for approx 2 hours a day on top of running a home cafe and entertaining every afternoon outside (weather permitting). H has worked throughout (engineering) in fact I've seen less and less of him. I need a break.. a day to myself, some me time! Nope, no chance, H announced this morning Saturday all day he's off golfing. He's also been skiving off during the week doing so .. on the quite. AIBU to think this is taking the piss a little

Call him out on it

Definitely taking the piss. On Sunday take yourself off early and let him deal with the kids. Go shopping or visiting friends and family.

What has he said when you have explained it to him how unfair he's being?

I'm assuming he's not been helping of an evening upon his return from work ?

I did call him out, he left on a frosty note this morning! When he comes in of an evening he's straight on the sofa, bottle of wine and questioning the kids about what they did today (learning as well as outside time). Come the weekend normally he's in his office looking at emails / accounts. Until I suggest we do something.. I know he's taking the piss really, he's never been great at contributing to parenting. I'd just hoped I wasn't alone 😞
