Thought that this is the sort of thing he RF do 😂

InkieNecro · 22/07/2020 08:59

It is slightly insane, but I bet my children would enjoy watching it. Definitely rather watch her than Umizoomi or Paw Patrol!

Pacamacka · 22/07/2020 09:01

FortunesFave. I didn’t say she sounded mad or need committing. I did say she sounds like a pissed relative at Xmas because she does.

Constructive criticism is good I agree so in light of that I offer: Her intentions are good here. She’s trying her best to entertain but nevertheless delivers a rambling video resembling a spoof of a kids YouTube channel.

WhattheHhashappened · 22/07/2020 09:06

Fortune: Why must some women delight in putting others down? Women have a hard enough time as it is without bolstering your own fragile ego by knocking someone doing a harmless project like this.

I’m sure if Anne, Timothy Lawrence, Charles, Camilla, William, Catherine, Andrew, Edward, Sophie, Harry, Megan (or anyone else for that matter) put out nutty you tube videos I’d be laughing at them too.

The criticism has absolutely NOTHING to do with her being a woman. She’s not got a clean record.

Are women exempt from criticism ‘because they are women?’ No they’re not.

WhattheHhashappened · 22/07/2020 09:10

Can some of you test them out on your DC?
Mine are too old!

Do they
a) Find her engaging, highly entertaining and hilarious?
b) Sit watching her silently with a look of confusion and fear?

BalanceGreen · 22/07/2020 09:16

I think she's done a really good try at making some nice videos - and some of the effects and page closeups (when reading books) are better than some of those I've seen over lockdown.

Harmlessly amusing :-)

wheresmymojo · 22/07/2020 09:59

I mean she is bonkers...but the kind of eccentric bonkers which is wonderfully English and to be celebrated I think.

What would we be as a nation without a few utterly eccentric toffs Grin

LynetteScavo · 22/07/2020 10:57

It is truly Bonkers.

She needs Boris Johnson to join her. That would be great entertainment.

It's like she hasn't really thought it through. In one of the videos there's a towel hanging over a chair.

Was this a lock down project? Will she be showing adults how to plant seeds or mix cocktails next?

MadauntofA · 22/07/2020 11:09

I didn't quite know what to make of that! She must be bored waiting for grandchildren- I think she will make a fab but eccentric grandma!

Arthersleep · 22/07/2020 17:12

Well, she's coerced her daughter's into taking part. I'm just waiting for Andrew to appear! What do you think that he will be reading?

Hopefully not The Beast of Buckingham Palace...😳

Arthersleep · 23/07/2020 08:51

@WhattheHhashappened

Putting my 4 year old daughter to the test this morning out of sheer slightly warped curiosity. Will report back! Grin

WhattheHhashappened · 23/07/2020 08:58

Arther
Please do! I’m intrigued!

Arthersleep · 23/07/2020 09:41

@WhattheHhashappened

If only you could have seen her expression! Priceless. She went very quiet, sat frowning and asked me to turn the 'scary lady off'!! She looked like she was about to cry!! She just keeps saying that 'she's not funny'. On the other hand, my 9 year old son, who has the same warped sense of humour as me, thought it hilariously bad and kept laughing.

Arthersleep · 23/07/2020 09:46

I definitely enjoyed her latest production of 'Goldilocks', watching her prance around in a long blonde wig whilst being chased by a man in a bear costume! Am beginning to think that perhaps this series is actually aimed at slightly warped adults. I can't stop watching them and have got my friends hooked! Grin

WhattheHhashappened · 23/07/2020 09:51

Arther Grin So that’s a fail then! Poor Fergie! GrinGrin

squirrelsbizaar · 23/07/2020 10:11

I'm not royal or SF fan, but I don't find it particularly offensive, or cringe. She's just doing her own thing.
She doesn't have a large subscription, or watch rate and not harming anyone so, leave her to it.

Arthersleep · 23/07/2020 12:48

@WhattheHhashappened

Well, perhaps not a hit with my 4 year old, but I swear that she has a region of adult fans. apparently has had 300,000 views!

OP posts:
Chootchoot · 24/07/2020 06:19

I think its hilarious! No harm in being eccentric and posh.

fancynotplain · 24/07/2020 09:50

I’m cringing for her. Why reference zeebadee when the Magic Roundabout has not been on for 30 years? What self confidence though - at least she’s trying.
