to ask you to help me find a notebook

This is far from urgent (obviously) but I’m working from home and I’m getting annoyed with my notebook.

I have a ‘to do’ list which I add to constantly with all the shit that gets thrown at me. It’s fine. I work through it Picking stuff as necessary.

I usually do a separate list of ‘to do today’. I want a notebook which combines the two - I’ve drawn a very shit picture and attached it.

It basically looks like a normal notebook when closed but when you open it it has a sort of flip up pad on each side.

Make sense?

And sheet for another boring thread (which are my speciality it seems)

And I know I’m a dinosaur for using paper lists - I don’t like electronic ones. I just don’t.

Is this your imagined ideal or does this really exist. If so, I want one. I run two separate shorthand notebooks - one for actions. One for drafting/note taking. Would be neat to have a folio to store both together.

Could you buy an A4 ring binder and glue two spiral bound note pads, one on each side?? If that makes sense?!

It’s my imagined idea but I think I’ve seen similar but whatever I google I’m coming up short.

I could but I kind of want it smaller - A5 size. I need to have it in my handbag and be able to take to meetings.

You can buy cute A5 ring binders. Glue in a note pad to each side and you’re good to go.

Holy Crap, I need this in my life!

Merryoldgoat · 21/07/2020 18:04

I have ordered 2 Tabitha Wilde ones from Amazon - one for work and one the hobby.

I fucking love stationery.

Excellent!

I really hope this sorts out my day to day. I’m generally pretty organised but the occasional thing gets missed as it’s buried in the ‘big’ list.

This way I can look at the ‘big’ list each night, write a ‘today’ list and add any shit my manager flings onto the appropriate one.

I’ll be so on it people will be going around work saying ‘Wow - Merry is on FIRE’. Or something.
