Airbnb Help- host not responding

I am due to arrive on Friday but I haven't heard back from my host since I booked (and paid)
I managed to get her on the phone but she hung up after a few minutes. Airbnb say I am covered but that just means in terms of a refund. What happens if I arrive over there and she continues to be non responsive and I have no accommodation and have to find something on the hop ? Any one else ever been in this position?

If your host is unresponsive I wouldn’t chance it. What had led to this circumstances? How far is where you’re staying from home?

Its all booked and paid for and I have a friend staying with me too who has booked and paid for flights. Its totally bizarre as usually they are so quick to get back
I wouldn't mind but I wanted to cancel with covid and when I didn't hear back I just thought will go ahead and asked a friend to join me
