Tummy tuck

To go and see a plastic surgeon about a tummy tuck?

I was 55 kg and now up to 68kgs on a 5 ft 2in small boned frame.
I have put on nearly 2 stone in the last three years, it’s been a

combination of comfort eating since my father died, antidepressants

stopping smoking, lack of exercise, worry and now this bloody

lockdown, though I have been exercising every day for the last few weeks. I have two rolls of fat; one above the waist and one below, I have beautiful clothes that just don’t fit anymore and it’s getting me down. In my early 50s now and I know it’s going to be harder than ever to get rid. I am so disappointed in myself.

V sorry about your pregnancy losses and your Dad.

I do still think that before going down this extreme route it’d be good to give time, effort and (some) money to food and lifestyle actions. Not explored yet, far lower cost / risk, and more likely to benefit your physical and mental health.

Thank you for the positive thoughts from everyone I do appreciate them .

Just thought I would up date my post.
I had my nose job and tummy tuck done last week. Our health insurance paid for my nose due to breathing issues, so it was just the tummy procedure to pay for, and only one lot of anaesthetic to cope with was better for me.
To be honest it has been very painful, under the breast area in particular, having to wear a very tight corset , sore from drains placed in pubic area so no pants for a week now and not been outside as i am weak , but delighted with my nose so far, and when the swelling goes completely I hope the tummy will look as good as I hope. It’s a long haul ahead I know and definitely not something to untake lightly, but do feel it’s been worth it for me.

Just to add I did manage to lose 6 kgs before the surgery and as we live outside the UK the procedure cost £3,500 in total due to health insurance playing the nose op.
