Our kitchen is being renovated. Spotlights are going in to the ceiling. There's a weird boxed out board on the ceiling, can't plaster over that as it won't stick, so the plasterer was supposed to remove it and put another material on top and then plaster over it.
He now claims he can't do that as there's possibly asbestos under it, but no one was worried about asbestos when they were cutting holes in to the ceiling.
So now am annoyed as even if he didn't remove it but place a thin material over it which could be plastered, that would've been absolutely fine.
Except now I have a ceiling plastered with a stupid box that isn't. Am attaching pictures As am sure it would be hard to imagine otherwise
