For complicated reasons my DP and I have been apart during lockdown so rely heavily on texts and phone calls. But whilst I send masses of I love you and miss you messages - these are rarely returned. When I ask him about this he says I know he loves me and misses me so I shouldn't have to have lots of messages to confirm it. He messages me regularly with general chat but I would like some nice messages too. AIBU?
