Finally a house where I can let my topiary addiction go wild.

Somanysocks · 18/07/2020 11:33

Well they certainly like a bush.

wherestheotherone · 18/07/2020 11:52

That's the weirdest house! Lovely but how much fake greenery! Lots of potential

wherestheotherone · 18/07/2020 11:54

I find it hard to see past the wonky furniture.

ArsenicNLace · 18/07/2020 12:04

It must be staged. There's plants all over the island in the kitchen so you couldn't use it as a worktop. Maybe they sell them and didn't have anywhere to store them?

emojisarentwords · 18/07/2020 12:21

Don't understand everyone hating on the fake plants. Arranged properly, it could make the best game of hide and seek you ever played in your life. Count me in. Grin

Takeitonthechin · 18/07/2020 12:24

No, I wouldn't buy it

Jocasta2018 · 18/07/2020 12:49

Suddenly got the urge to become minimalist in my decorating skills. Love the sheep though!

wineandroses1 · 18/07/2020 13:02

Dear god. And even without the madness of the topiary it’s pretty pokey.

NotTheMrMenAgain · 18/07/2020 13:03

They REALLY like sheep and fake greenery! I usually like a garland of any type, but that's a bit much. It's nice to have a theme I suppose........

Crunchymum · 18/07/2020 13:05

@MariaDingbat

In fairness to them, the outside gardens are lovely.
But is it all real???

(I know the sheep aren't Grin)

happyfeet245 · 18/07/2020 13:08

Is this a joke?Grin Forget the weird plant overload, who arranges furniture like that?! So odd.😂

passthemustard · 18/07/2020 13:09

Do you think they just moved all the fake plants around from room to room to take the pictures?

It looks so normal from the outside

fishonabicycle · 18/07/2020 13:36

That is brilliant!

TSSDNCOP · 18/07/2020 13:59

Only if you can think outside the Box OP Grin

nevermorelenore · 18/07/2020 14:03

Maybe they like a bit of Tarzan and Jane roleplay. Kinky. Be a bugger to dust though.

2155User · 18/07/2020 14:09

to a particularly tasteful theme

Brilliant agent description

wowfudge · 18/07/2020 18:53

The photos from when it was last marketed are on zoopla. They've put a new bathroom in and done some work to the kitchen - either replaced the doors or the whole kitvhen. £100k price hike seems a lot.

wowfudge · 18/07/2020 18:55

My bad - it's had a new roof and windows, etc too according to the listing. Even so.

Honeyroar · 18/07/2020 20:19

They must be a bit strange round there (I always thought Frodsham was posh!). If you click on view similar properties it brings a similar house up that has a load of creatures on the stairs...

Should I buy this house?
wowfudge · 18/07/2020 20:21

Is it on with the same EA? I wonder if they have a photographer with a 'quirky' style?

Rebelwithallthecause · 18/07/2020 20:23

So much foliage. I wonder if it’s being stored for a wedding business or such like

Honeyroar · 18/07/2020 20:26

Possibly @wowfudge!

I wonder if all the shrubbery in the garden is actually real or whether it’s totally bare and they carried all the bushes outside for the photos!

It’s quite strange that the one bit that could’ve done with a bit of disguising (the wooden fence right in front of the conservatory) didn’t get much greenery.

AdoreTheBeach · 18/07/2020 20:30

Only buy if you have a green thumb
