To buy the loudest toy/instrument ever

Neighbours decided to get their DIY on tonight starting at 11, and still going.

I'm guessing from how loud it is, they are in one of the bedrooms which shares it's walls with our bedrooms and has woken both DC and myself.

Would it be unneighbourly of me to get my son a drum kit or loud toy of some sort to use in the very early mornings?

Sorry for any misspellings and such, should be sleeping, not typing Angry

Bit like my neighbours, another day another party, for 4 sodding months, we are currently at the singing stage argh!

Op, id go and knock, its an unacceptable time.

Sunnydayshereatlast · 17/07/2020 23:59

Vacuuming while singing along at 7am tomorrow is a must op.

Notcontent · 18/07/2020 00:03

Yes, definitely do some energetic vacuuming early in the morning - preferably the type where you hit the skirting board with your vacuum cleaner repeatedly.

MissMadEyeMoody · 18/07/2020 00:04

I would pop over but they quite literally seem to hate me, I can't go outside my door without rude comments being thrown.

Thinking it's being done purposely, considering they have had all bloody day to do this.

Forgot about the vacuum, guess I'll get an early start on the housework tomorrow Grin

Get your child a recorder & while you’re at it get yourself one too! There is no noise more awful that a recorder at any time of the day but at 7am it’s an instrument sent Straight from hell

nancy75 · 18/07/2020 00:07

I would imagine playing the recorder whilst vacuuming against the skirting boards is even better

FantasyPanda · 18/07/2020 00:55

Pots and pans with a wooden spoon! Amazing DIY drum kit! Pop a recorder in his other hand like PP said, blast some cheesy tunes, you sing and he plays along. "I want to break free" comes to mind while you're banging that skirting board with the vacuum!

If you’re going out tomorrow and have speakers ready to accidentally leave next to the party wall, this is the 24hr long Insanity version
