Screen time

Honestly the attitude I see on here from some folk about screen time is ridiculous. So what if a kid spends a few hours in front of a screen! I don't see how it makes you a bad parent if you allow your child to play on tablets/phone and watch tv for a few hours or as long as they want. What's the issue here?

As with most things, screen time is fine in moderation but 12 hours every day and no interaction with others would be less fine.

I don’t allow screen time for my DS (15 months). My main reason for it is that I feel he can learn more from interactive toys and books and from myself and DH being so young.

And I would rather we got his energy out while he’s awake by going outside or carrying out an activity.
