DH might be made redundant in a shrinking industry where it would be hard to find another job.
We have a young baby, want another and are feeling scared for the future. I'm also feeling pretty pissed off. I graduated in the last recession and basically think I'll spend the vast majority of my working life in recession or austerity.
This is only the beginning. Shit happens and we will just get on with it but is anyone else scared for the future and feeling like this is a crazy time to be alive? So many good social movements recently - MeToo, BLM, climate action etc against a backdrop of endless economic and political misery
