To not see my sister?

I had an argument with my sister yesterday about this. She went out for dinner at a Wetherspoons last night with 3 friends from work, they pretended to be from the same household so they could all sit together. She went out for dinner with a friend the night before. I've been shielding, and we're still being very very careful, and told her we won't be able to see her whilst she's seeing other people like that. DS5 has additional needs and doesn't understand social distancing, he'd be all over her for cuddles and what not. I didn't have a go or tell her off, I'm not her mum, I just said that it's not a good idea for us to meet up if she's not socially distancing as much as possible. She kicked off at me and thinks I'm being unreasonable. Why shouldn't she be going out to eat when restaurants are open again? So who's being unreasonable?

If you're shielding, I assume that means that you or someone in your house is vulnerable? Therefore, I do not think you are being unreasonable.
I personally wouldnt be too bothered about what shes been up to (if shes been at work with her colleagues all day, I cant see how going pub to them is much more risky) but I just wouldnt see her myself.

YANBU at all but just be careful of your tone and wording, because there's a chance she might just start lying to you and pretend she hasn't been anywhere, and thus put you at risk. Speaking from experience Angry

YANBU. My mum has been shielding since day 1 due to asthma, I totally understand. The risk just isn’t worth it when we know she will end up in hospital if she gets it.
