Hi all
I have BDD and I think going hand in hand with that I might also have an issue with food.
I try to eat the smallest portions I possibly can (Having 3 spoons of cereal for example), then trying to avoid eating for a few hours, then feeling irritable and hungry and woofing down chocolate and crisps.
When I go shopping I alternate each time between buying salad and veg etc and then the next time thinking god no I can’t live on that and coming home with pasta and cheese and desserts, which I eat and then feel flabby and guilty. Same with buying multipacks of chocolate bars etc. Buy them, eat all 4 bars within 2 days and then feel bad about myself.
I’m nearly 10 stone which is quite a lot on my petite frame.
I don’t know how to handle this, advice needed.
