Lunchtime and afternoon lengths

How long do your children get for lunch?. Have an afternoon break?. Asking this as a parent and a teacher. I teach year 2. I received the news today that from September timings will be changed. Lunchtime has been cut down to 35 minutes and there will be no afternoon break, although the school day will be now finishing 30 minutes earlier. It now means the times will be.

8.55-10.15
10-30- 12:05
12:40-3.00

Just seems too much for year 2!

That is a very short lunch. Many children will struggle to eat in that time.
Also the teacher has bugger all time to have a break and set up for the afternoon.

My new reception starter will get 1h 15m for lunch (I assume half that time is for eating and half is for playing)

No afternoon break but 2.45 is 'milk, snack and story time'

@FlamingoAndJohn

My biggest concern is just that. How an earth do I get a break and set up in that time?

Also cannot see how afternoons will be that productive, 2hr 20 is a long time for 6 year olds.
