Fly tipping

Posting more for advice, but I've just noticed that our neighbour who's garden adjoins ours has replaced two fence panels (which I think belong to them) but have left the rotten old panels and a load of tree clippings (from a tree on their land) behind our shed so we couldn't see them until we've gone outside. I've phoned the council to ask advice but, because it's private land, they won't do anything.
I'm furious. What can I do about it? I'd go round and tell them but I'm a bit of a shitbag. Do I need to pull my big girl pants up?

Have they dumped it on your land or communal land? Go round and tell them they left it and see what they say

It's most definitely on our land. It is between our shed and the new fence panel.

Personally I would just pick it up and put it back on their land.

Put them back in their garden

Chuck them over the fence into their garden.

If you let this slide you can only expect worse to happen in the future.

Take it round to them and tell them that you think they’ve left something behind. Otherwise it’ll be chairs, then a sofa and then goodness knows what. Nip this in the bud @paintedpanda

I'd catch them in the garden and say 'Where do you want me to put your fence panel and branches?'

I'm going to go round and say something. I was absolutely furious when I noticed it. I don't think this is a good way to treat your neighbours at all.
