To ask about bikes and storing bikes

Hi, I am eligible for the bike to work scheme and am thinking about getting some new wheels. My old bike is a bit knackered and my youngest and i have got really into cycling since being at home more. I'd also like to get her a new one as she starts high school in August and I would like her to cycle there.
Do you have a separate bike shed? Getting the bikes out of the same shed I have tents, lawnmowers in etc is a mission and I know it will put me off ultimately.
I have looked at the big plastic ones. Are they any good? They look easy to erect which is why I am considering it!
Also, bike advice as to what to buy would be great. We live in a hilly, cobbly city in Scotland (bit of a give away!!).

We bought a composite shed from B&Q.
Really good, better than a wooden shed. And easy to lock up.
