I have 3 children and I love them dearly but at nearly 40 I'm certainly not wanting anymore.
I've been saving and now have enough to try and get my body back to a shape I'm happy with.
Aibu to be doing this when we could be paying for a holiday etc?
Has anyone else had a 'mummy makeover'?

I'm wanting to have a tummy tuck and a breast lift and hoping to have it before Xmas so I'm fully recovered for summer next year.
I'm happy with my weight and I work out so consider myself physically fit but I have absolutely zero confidence with how my body looks. It's the usual mum tummy that no matter how much I work out, it's not going anywhere (my eldest is 20 and it's always been a saggy flump which sits on my legs when I sit down). I think the breasts speak for themselves after breastfeeding 3.

Can anyone give any advice as I'm determined to finally do this (found a surgeon and private clinic), but I'm really nervous at the same time.

I wouldn’t judge you.

I have started to hear some unsettling things about implants though, so I’d be more inclined to go for the tummy tuck and an uplift (without implants) if that’s an option?

I've had both, no shame.

I'm not a big fan of playing around with the face (and thanks to having a round face that I hated in my 20's and never seeing the sun, I don't need to) unless it is something causing deep upset and confidence issues. Certainly not at 20 because a certain feature (butt lift, I'm looking at you) is in, but being geniunely unhappy with your body is no way to go through life. If you can get it fix and want it fixed, why not?

Your body, your choice!

Are you sure this can’t be fixed by Pilates and a PT ? But no judgement if you do it
