Oh my god, I clicked post too early!!

Naya Rivera has been found dead Sad Praying for her little boy. It must be horrible for him to have lost his mum, I wasn't familiar but with the actress but a terrible loss that this is. SadFlowers

There are another couple of threads about this on the go

myrtleWilson · 14/07/2020 19:19

It is tragic and her body being found yesterday confirmed the inevitable but what on earth is this doing in AIBU? Hmm

MouthBreathingRage · 14/07/2020 19:19

It is terrible and sad. However, you're a bit late for the announcement and I'm not sure this is the best place for a discussion about it.

Ijustwantedafringe36 · 14/07/2020 19:21

Sorry previous posters, I meant to create a 'respects etc, grieving' megathread but I clicked post too early ❤️

MouthBreathingRage · 14/07/2020 19:23

A grieving thread? I was a fan many years ago but its a bit much, and a tad disrespectful for those who actually knew her.

HeresMe · 14/07/2020 19:32

It is unreasonable she is dead, but unfortunately it is.

northstars · 14/07/2020 19:36

It’s heartbreaking what happened, but I’m not sure whose benefit a “grieving megathread” is for.

WaltzingBetty · 14/07/2020 19:47

A grieving 'megathread' for an actress you're unfamiliar with,in AIBU, a full day after the death was announced?

I think you've missed the mark on timing, tone and decency OP.

Quacks2020 · 14/07/2020 20:10

Wow, over reaction.

She just tried to start a thread on a terribly sad death. Even if there are a few going round. No need to be rude.

It's incredibly sad @Ijustwantedafringe36 you are right. And even if we dont know her personally it's STILL sad.

Ijustwantedafringe36 · 14/07/2020 20:43

I apologize, I haven't seen another thread on this!! I will ask mumsnet to delete the thread Smile

OP posts:
Battytwatty · 14/07/2020 20:49

Don’t ask for a deletion. Why do PP feel the need to point out there is more than one thread ..? Just scroll past FFS! This frequently gets asked but I have noticed they never answer the question!

TimeWastingButFun · 14/07/2020 21:16

You are definitely not being unreasonable. I heard it too. Horrific.

namechangetheworld · 14/07/2020 21:29

Ignore the thread police, they obviously have far too much time on their hands tonight Hmm

I used to be a big Glee fan back in the day and was upset when I heard the news. I'm very sad for her little boy especially and the fact he had to effectively witness her death.

CoRhona · 14/07/2020 21:35

Glad you put your second post, I was ShockShockShock at the first one.

Tragic news. So fortunate her son was ok.

user1471507295 · 14/07/2020 21:38

You meant to post a ‘megathread’? Based on someone dying? Wtf ?!

user1471507295 · 14/07/2020 21:44

Cringing for you tbh
