To want to smother DH with my pillow?

Not really. Well maybe a smidgen. I have given up trying to sleep and moved myself to the couch before smothering him becomes a real possibility.

He has started doing this thing with his foot in his sleep which drives me crazy. Literally every 20 seconds he bends his foot until his big toe makes a click off the mattress. It’s really hard to explain but it’s very weird, I’ve actually recorded it! So basically every twenty seconds his foot moves and clicks.

I haven’t told him, because he is so deep asleep when he does this that he is snoring, so it’s not his fault. But it also sets my teeth on edge. What’s to be done?

I have high decking in my back garden with lots of room underneath....

I would hazard a guess he knows what he is doing. Tell him to stop doing it without trying to wake him

Did you read this bit "because he is so deep asleep when he does this that he is snoring, so it’s not his fault."

Is it just a one off?
If every night, send him to sleep in the spare room/on the sofa.
Sleep deprivation is horrible and very unhealthy.

I don’t know if it’s every night, some nights I fall asleep before him. It’s bizarre, every 20 seconds! I ended up googling it and the search came up with periodic limb movement disorder! Sounds exactly like what he is doing.
