So many threads by single mums on here asking for advice when their new partners start acting like shit around their kids. Over and over again they start making excuse after excuse for the partners behaviour as the thread goes on. I am A single mum of 2 and by no means perfect but cannot by the life of me imagine letting some miserable bastard who does not even like my kids step

I fully understand that abuse leads people to lower the bar so fucking low that they think this is ok ... there is an amazing board in relationships about what is acceptable. Maybe someone more articulates day experiences than me could do one for this really really important issue?
