My best friend is a man. He text me earlier saying he was bored so I said I was passing through the city where he lives later if he fancies a few drinks but that it's fine if he doesn't fancy it. He hasn't text back and he always texts back straight away. He's also seen the message and been online at intervals since. Wtf?! Men are odd!

No. Men aren't weirdos. Some are, as are some women. Don't categorise half the population as weirdos just because your friend is bored but doesn't want to go out for a drink with you. It doesn't even mean that your friend is a weirdo. Maybe he doesn't fancy drinks but just doesn't want to say.
