Like most people I do lots of transactions online; buying goods and services, banking booking appointments etc.
Most of the time things are fine but what do you do when things go wrong? Current problems include:-
- M & S lots of activity on my account money going in and out, spent four hours on the phone but can't get a reply. You cant send a message via their app but their online form doesn't work.
- Halifax building society, trying to sort out my mums estate but they wont talk to me because I'm not the account holder. um shes dead just tell me what documents you require!
- Scottish power - dd has to enter her meter readings online but the form says they are incorrect. You cant speak to a person to tell them the readings but they can send threatening letters to her.
It appears companies no longer have people you can speak to and if they do the lines are constantly busy.
Anyone with any advice any similar stories they want to share?
