To ask if anyone has been to Spain or Mallorca yet?

Hi all
Moved holiday to September for Mallorca. Keep checking on trip advisor for updates to hotel but it’s still saying it’s closed.
Just wondered if anyone has travelled there or Spain in the last week or so and what is it like if you did

I just wanted to know are shops, bars and restaurants open? I know that it won’t be like normal.

Yes they are. You must wear a mask in shops (and all indoor public spaces) and sanitize your hands before you go in. This is non optional and you will be refused entry to shops without a mask. In restaurants same but at your table you are not required to wear a mask. If you go to the bathroom, for example, you must put the mask on until you get back to your table.

If you are planning to go to Catalunya region from tomorrow masks are mandatory in all public spaces, inside and out (so including walking in the street).

This is "La Nueva Normalidad" and also it is worth considering that local lockdowns have happened in Lleida and Galicia.

If the beach gets too full they close it and send people home.

Stock up on masks would be my advice!

But its nothing like it was 2 months ago where it was like a ghost town in major cities.
