To be upset that my 4yo dd doesn’t like me atm

Dd4 has always been a daddies girl but the last 3 months it’s got so much worse.

When he’s on lates and I have to put her bed she just screams and screams for daddy, saying how much she loves daddy cuddles.

When he’s here she won’t let me put her bed, he’s exhausted from working all day and then having to put her to bed. If I do it I have to literally drag her upstairs and she spends an hour screaming/crying.

She constantly tells me she doesn’t like me and that she loves daddy more than me.

Me and Dh were messing around (play fighting 😂😂) and he was laughing and said he couldn’t breathe, honestly she had a breakdown! Screaming and sobbing that she thought I hurt him and wouldn’t let go of him.

I love that they have a bond but I feel so pushed out and unloved. 😩

I know it's hard, but it'll just be a phase.
Ds flip flopped between me & his dad at that age, now he's 5 & settled in the middle of us.

It is really hard, but try to minimise it to help it pass quickly. She doesn't really mean it.

My dad was exactly the same at that age . Her dad was working longer guess than me so I was the be having to do the every day things such as teeth brushing and stuff . Daddy was more of a ‘novelty ‘ and was there at more relaxed times of the days .
