aibu to be worried about urgent ENT referral

so after months of problems with my throat I noticed some 'lumps' at the back of my mouth/throat a couple of weeks ago.
Sent photos to GP today and they have referred me urgently to ENT on 2 week wait.
GP said they don't know what the lumps are but nothing to worry about?

Honestly it's just so you're not waiting ages to be seen. If they thought it was anything to worry about you'd have been told.

They’ll be using the two-week referral (it’s part of the cancer pathway but that does not mean they think it’s cancer) as they are unsure and don’t want to wait around. Also your throat is part of airway so they can’t linger, especially if they came up suddenly.
