Working in bubbles at work.

Lou780 · 06/07/2020 23:03

We have been split into 5 different bubbles in work. Each bubble works in a different building. Each bubble has 6 people in it.
Now a few people are trying to organize a bbq at the weekend and are inviting 10 people across all bubbles. Is this OK or not.. I don't know what to think anymore.

I don't know if it makes a difference.. But one of the the person hosting the bbq husband will be there and is a paramedic.. So high risk.

Groups of 8 max in a social gathering so that's your answer

Lou780 · 06/07/2020 23:07

But even if its 8 doesn't that defeat the purpose of the bubbles in work?

People aren’t told only to socialise with their work mates. Everyone can see other friends and family, as long as that observe the guidelines.

For England, this is the relevant part of the guidelines...

when you are outside you can continue to meet in groups of up to six people from different households, following social distancing guidelines

Ten is too many.

I’m sorry to be no help, but when I read the title to your thread I imagined a hybrid of an office and an Ayia Napa style foam party.
