I’m not usually one for tinhat theories but it is starting to feel like 2020 is a B-list budget horror film.

If the Bubonic Plague gets up and running again the economy will be the least of our worries.

Coronavirus will seem like a dream in comparison.

Well it's always been around but I wouldn't fancy a new epidemic especially when doctors keep saying antibiotics dont always work and new mutations happen.
If 2020 was a horror film then bubonic plague would mutate with corona(or ebola how horrific) and people would die on the streets as hospitals would be overwhelmed.

Um, where do I start? Bubonic plague is easy to treat. It has a fairly short incubation period and a kills quickly if untreated so you haven’t got proper walking around without fof ages. It’s easy to control with basic hygiene and isolation. Mongolia is not in China.

It would mutate with corona and Ebola - then the dead would immediately reanimate and become coughing, pooing, puss filled zombies. It would be quite the apocalypse.

I would rather worry about the fact that there have been around 40K daily Covid-19 cases in the US for the past couple of weeks, and we are letting planeloads of people into the UK from the US without checking or quarantining them.

Well it's bacterial and treated with antibiotics. Also we have good hygiene and proper waste disposal so it's not going to spread like it did in the past.
By the way, the film The Black Death is brilliant and has Sean Bean's best death scene. Not for the faint of heart though.
