What can be done from home in about 40ish hours per week, that I can earn a decent, or half decent living from?
Can be anything...

I am happy to retrain in something, but what?

All ideas welcome.....

What do you do now and what do you class as a decent income? A lot of jobs are now moving to wfh so a lot more options out there.

Right now? homeschooling, housework, baking, sewing masks, Mumsnet, Facebook and "working out what I'm going to do with the rest fo my life" research....

Decent-ish income would be 25K starting. i.e. for something I was new to.

What job roles have you previously held and what was your skillset?

Qualifications?
Experience?

What kind of things are you interested in/not interested in?

Turkeydrumstick · 05/07/2020 17:21

Something in the civil service? They often advertise roles that can be done from home.

Ex Primary teacher/leader many years of experience.

Various degrees and professional qualifications.

I like arty things and am quite good with tech and numbers. I also like writing.

Online tutoring of any kind. I think online ESL tutoring is going to take off. There are free courses on how to teach online and set up a business online on Futurelearn

Thank you for your replies.
Thingsdogetbetter that sounds useful.

Lecturing with the OU or FE college. This kind of teaching is likely to explode in the next year or two.

Wiltinglillies · 05/07/2020 19:30

Thanks.
Anyone have any non- teaching ideas?
